What is a Moodle?
Moodle is one of several open source software systems designed to help people (mainly teachers) build online courseware. It’s free, easy to use and versatile enough to enable you to just organize and share documents, but sophisticated enough to create a complex, multi-media, interactive course complete with quizzes, discussion forums, external links, web pages, surveys, assignments, a database and contextual glossary that will integrate with other learning management systems.
Moodle Looks, Acts & Navigates Just Like a Web Site. Think of a Moodle as a many-faceted site that makes it possible to set up your own area, and fill it with content that your audience — internal or external — can use for short- and long-term projects and programs.
